Carbon County is accepting sealed bids for the purchase of 1200 brown
Carsonite sign posts and Carsonite post drivers, approximately 5,400
reflective stickers of various informational and directional signs, to
be placed on the Carsonite sign posts, and 40 metal traffic signs.
The sign posts and reflective stickers will be placed along the Carbon
County OHV Trail.

Any person wishing to submit a proposal must obtain a specification
sheet from Jordan Behunin at Jordan.Behunin@carbon.utah.gov, or by
calling Mr. Behunin at (435) 636-3713.

Proposals may be submitted on or more of the following three
components: (1) the Carsonite sign posts and drivers; (2) the
reflective stickers; (3) the metal signs. Carbon County reserves the
right to purchase each component from different bidders, or to
purchase two or more components from one vendor. Proposals must
contain a color sample or photographic layout of the proposed artwork
or design for each sign type, and a unit price for each sign type.

The County reserves the right to select the proposals based on
artistic design, style, proposed colors, quality and durability,
visibility, and price, and to weigh each component as it deems
appropriate. Any warranties, replacement policies, and available
options may also be considered in awarding the proposal.

Proposals are due at the Carbon County Clerk's office at 120 East
Main, Price, Utah 84501, prior to 5:00 p.m. May 6, 2014, and should
clearly indicate on the outside envelope, "Carbon County OHV Trail
Signs." Bid opening date is at 4:30 p.m., May 7, 2014, during the
regularly scheduled Carbon County Commission meeting at the County
Courthouse, 120 East Main Street, Price Utah.

Carbon County is not responsible for proposals that are received late
due to delays in delivery by any source. Faxed bids are not accepted.
