Single vehicle accident injures one on Highway 10
A Helper man was transported to Castleview Hospital with non-life threatening injuries Monday afternoon after drifting across the center line and over-correcting to the right, causing his vehicle to collide with a Highway 10 power pole.
Ryan Lee, 35, of Helper was traveling northbound near mile marker 67 at approximately 2:20 p.m. on March 31 when the incident occurred. According to Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Warren Nelson, Lee over corrected enough to cause his vehicle to lose control. Lee was driving a late model Kia Sorento, which was the only car involved in the incident. He was cited by UHP Troopers on scene for Failure to Operate in a Single Lane of Travel. Nelson stated that Lee's Sorento had slid sideways after he over-corrected leading to the collision. Traffic was impacted for nearly an hour on Hwy. 10.
