With a string of tough losses, the USU Eastern baseball team is looking to turn the tables by having the results go in their favor.

The Golden Eagles dropped both games of their two-game homestand against Salt Lake Community College on Thursday, March 27 including a 5-4 defeat in the first game followed by a 15-3 rout in the second game.

USU Eastern pitchers struggled in the loss as Mitch Dahl, Shane Hardman and Colton Draney combined to allow 15 runs, 12 earned, through four innings of work.

The Golden Eagles traveled to Salt Lake City where they played a doubleheader against SLCC on Saturday, March 29.

The team is continuing their road trip to Idaho Falls, ID where they are scheduled to play Dawson Community College for two doubleheaders on Monday, March 31 and Tuesday, April 1. The two teams are scheduled to meet again in Glendive, Mont., on April 8 and 9 for another round of two doubleheaders.
