Alan Rindlesbacher, Ted Sandstrom, Erik Sandstrom, Chuck Schell and Gerry Pond stand in front of the SUV they were using last weekend to traverse all 29 counties in the state in 24 hours. The trip was the brain child of Rindlesbacher who was so enticed with his trip through all the counties in the state during the Utah Travel Councils Statehood Centennial Passport program, that he decided to do it as a publicity tour for the travel council, but instead of taking a year he decided to do it in a day. The group left the state capitol at 7:10 a.m. on Friday morning and hit Price on their trip about 2:30 p.m. after already traveling through a number of counties to the north of the Carbon County location.
