Sealed bids will be received for the construction of the Carbon
County Regional Airport, Hangar/Apron Expansion Phase I project. Bids
must be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 19, 2014,
to the Carbon County Clerk's Office at 120 East Main St, Price, UT
84501. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at 4:30 p.m. during
the Commission Meeting. Late bids will not be accepted. Each Bid must
be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to Carbon County, Attn:
Seth Oveson, 120 East Main St, Price, UT 84501. Each sealed envelope
containing a Bid must be plainly marked on the outside Carbon County
Regional Airport, Hangar/Apron Expansion Phase I.
There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting held at 1:00 p.m. on
Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at the Carbon County Airport, Price, Utah.
An on-site inspection will be made on the airport immediately
following the meeting. A second pre-bid meeting and site visit will
be scheduled if the County determines it is necessary. Technical

The Bid includes furnishing all labor, materials, transportation, and
services to install utilities (water, sewer, septic, power, and
communications) for a future apron and hangar development at the
Carbon County Regional Airport.
Copies of the Contract Documents must be obtained from the office of
Creamer and Noble, 35 South 400 West, Suite 200, St. George, UT 84770,
(435) 673-4677. A fee of $35.00 is required for hard copies of each
set or a fee of $15.00 is required for electronic copies. Contact

obtain a set of the Contract Documents (in hard copy or electronic
form) from Creamer and Noble. Copies of the contract documents will
be available starting March 3, 2014.

Carbon County is not responsible for bids that are received late due
to delays in delivery by any source. Faxed bids are not accepted.

A 100% performance and payment bond will be required on this project.
Every Bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of
the bid, naming Carbon County as oblige. This bid bond must be issued
by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Utah and
be on a bond form acceptable to Carbon County.
Carbon County reserves the right to reject any, or all bids, or to
waive any formality or technicality in any bid, in the interest of the
