Letter to the Editor: Took history when it was history

By Fred Richardson

Recently, Harry Reid, the senate majority leader, brought up for a vote; a measure, pushed by President Obama, to put us under United Nations gun control. If passed, this would have done away with our Constitutional Second Amendment. The Senate voted 51-46 against it. The 46 votes were Democrats and an Independent. Part of the Republicans would have supported it, but they want us to think that they are looking out for conservatives.

The House led by our conservative representing Republicans, marched forward with another trillion dollars of debt, by a vote of 221-201, with no concern for spending and waste reform. What is going on here?

Abraham Lincoln said, "If danger ever reaches us it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be it's author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time. Or die by suicide".

Ezra Taft Benson- Secretary of Agriculture under Eisenhower in his "An Enemy Hath Done This", that was published in 1969 said, "The Soviets would not attempt military conquest of so powerful and so extensive a country as the United States without availing themselves of a sufficiently strong fifth column in our midst; a fifth column that would provide the sabotage, the false leadership, and the sudden seizures of power and of means of communications needed to convert the struggle, from the very beginning, into a civil war rather than a clear cut war with an external enemy".

.Louis F Budenz- an Ex Communist, from his book "Men Without faces"(which was published before 1969) stated "It is vital to American defense and to the integrity of American public opinion to know who are the Red agents of a foreign and hostile dictatorship. And yet, they are nowhere to be found - as Reds... For instance, if I were permitted to, I could name more than 400 concealed Reds functioning as editorial writers, actors, authors, educators, physicians and the like. I know them as members of the Communist conspiracy; I was acquainted with them and their records as builders of Communist fronts and undercover workers for Communist objectives... If I were to mention these names before a court or commission, there would be such an uproar of criticism as to vitiate any good I might do to the nations security".

Margaret Thatcher, the former British Prime Minister once said that "The bad thing about socialism is that you eventually run out of somone else's money."

Half, at least, of Americans are receiving government aid. We are seein gthis carried out by our government right now.

No one in the media tells the whole truth about what is happening. I know history and that if repeats itself. I watch, and put that with what I've seen and what I've read and what I know from the past and draw a logical conclusion. Washington is full of traitors who are selling us out. Anyone who thinks communism is dead is foolish.

I took American History when it was American History and nor revised by socialists to dumb down Americans about what mad ethis country great.
