Sealed bids will be received for the construction of the Spring Glen
Water System Improvement Project. Bids must be submitted by Tuesday,
March 25, 2014, 3:00 PM, to the Price River Water Improvement
District, 265 South Fairgrounds Road , Price, Utah 84501. Bids will be
opened publicly and read aloud in the District Board Room . Each Bid
must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to Price River Water
Improvement District, Kaye Cripps, Treasurer, 265 South Fairgrounds
Road, Price, Utah 84501. Each sealed envelope containing a Bid must be
plainly marked on the outside Spring Glen Water System Improvement
A mandatory site visit and pre-bid conference for Bidders will be
held on Thursday, March 13, 2014, 1:00 PM at the offices of the Price
River Water Improvement District at 265 South Fairgrounds Road, Price,
The Bid includes furnishing all labor, materials, transportation, and
services to install 120 LF of 1 0" waterline, 4,900 linear feet of 8"
waterline, 650 LF of 6" waterline, 9,100 LF of 3/4" water service
line, 121 meter box assemblies, 15 fire hydrants, a 1 0"
waterline/wash crossing, roadway repair work, and related landscaping
and fencing work.
Copies of the Contract Documents must be obtained from the office of
Creamer and Noble, 35 South 400 West, Suite 200, St. George, UT 84770,
(435) 673-4677. A fee of $100 .00 is required for hard copies of each
set. Electronic copies are available for a reduced fee of $20.00 per
set. All Bidders who submit a bid are required to purchase a set of
the Contract Documents from Creamer and Noble.

A 100% payment and performance bond will be required on this project.
Every Bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of
the bid, naming the Price River Water Improvement District as obligee,
this bid bond must be issued by a surety company licensed to do
business in the State of Utah and be on a bond form acceptable to the
Price River Water Improvement District.
A signed Certificate of Legal Work Status- Contractor, Form 2.4, must
accompany the BID.
