With a chance to get into the 1A playoffs for the first time, the Pinnacle High girls basketball team was looking to make history.
But Milford had other ideas.
Milford took advantage early with a 20 point halftime lead before running away with the game handing Pinnacle a 61-27 loss on Tuesday afternoon at the Sevier Valley Center in Richfield.
Maggie Syrett scored a team-high 15 points for Pinnacle. However, she was the only player to reach double figures for the Lady Panthers as Dellenie Paletta had four points, Misty Bingham added three points, Makael Vigil had two points and Raycee Birth finished with one point.
