Thank you for adding the world's most popular word game to the Smart Shopper section of your award winning newspaper.

Parents, this is a proven way to strengthen your students vocabulary and mental skills as well as your skills. With state school testing rapidly approaching, this is a fun way to help your students in a family setting.

Tonight, around the supper table or even while watching television start the game with your student. For students, after your first run-through of the words, it is legal to refer to your Thesaurus or reference Dictionary.

It is believed a crossword puzzle inscription was found on and ancient tomb in Egypt. The puzzle first appeared in the modern world as a children's game in Great Britain in the 19th century.
