PRICE - Edna Elnora Bliss Mahleres passed away at her home in Price, Utah on January 16, 2014.
She was born on October 11, 1932 to Samuel Marion and Edna May Emert Bliss. Edna grew up in Price but spent many of her weekends at the Bliss Cattle Ranch in Moab, Utah.
She married Angelo Mahleres in 1950 and they were blessed with four wonderful children. Edna graduated from Carbon College with an Associate Degree in Business. She worked for the Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control from 1964 to 1997 as a store manager, earning accolades and distinction for being one of the top performing stores in the State.
Edna loved music, gardening, the Denver Broncos, playing bridge, and doing her daily crossword puzzle. She was an avid fisherwoman, a meticulous seamstress, and a fabulous chef.
Edna is survived by her children, Connie (David) Hamilton, Nick (Jaylene) Mahleres, and Barbara (Michael) Danner; sister, Josephine Diamanti; grandchildren, Angela Hamilton, Nicholas Garrick, AJ Garrick, and Star Danner; and great-grandson, Landyn Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Angelo H. Mahleres; infant son, Luther Angelo Mahleres; brother, Corwin Ajas; and son-in-law, Darren Garrick.
She made a positive impact on so many individuals and she will be greatly missed. May her memory be eternal.

Funeral service, Monday, January 20, 2014, 2:00 p.m., at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price. Family will be at Mitchell Funeral Home Monday one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at the Price City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Price, Utah.
