CONTRACTOR PROVIDED DESIGN ASSISTANCE AND CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
REQUEST FOR STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS
The Carbon County Municipal Building Authority (CCMBA) is seeking the
services of qualified CONTRACTORS to provide input during the design
process and provide construction services for the improvement of Nine
Mile Canyon Road within Carbon and Duchesne Counties. Work includes
approximately 34 miles of paving, shoulder gravel, installing drainage
culverts, installing safety items, and related work. The Engineer's
opinion of probable construction cost is $13,000,000 to $15,000,000.
Using this Request for Qualifications, the CCMBA will create a short
list of the best-qualified contractors that will be eligible to submit
proposals for the project. The contractor will be selected using a
best value selection process.

A Non-Mandatory meeting for CONTRACTORS interested in submitting
Statements of Qualifications will be held on Tuesday, January 28, at
10:00 a.m., at the Carbon County Administration Building, 120 East
Main Street, Price, UT 84501.
The deadline for submitting a Statement of Qualifications is 2:00
p.m. on February 4, 2014. Deliver all Statements of Qualifications
to: Carbon County Municipal Building Authority, c/o Seth Overson,
County Clerk, 120 East Main Street, Price, UT 84501.
