CHANDLER, ARIZ /HELPER - Our beloved son, husband, father and friend, Paul Micheal Colombo passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, Gilbert, Ariz.
Paul was born on April 12, 1973 in Price to Richard and Kathy Prazen Colombo.
He married the love of his life, Christy Place on Nov. 13, 1998.
Paul is a graduate of Carbon High School; College of Eastern Utah, and completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Utah. His greatest achievements were building his beautiful family and his career as an Electrical Engineer.
Paul's laughter was contagious and his spirit limitless. He did not know the meaning of moderation. He loved big, played hard, and his accomplishments were many. Whether cheering on his Broncos, running a Spartan race (the muddier the better), or drag racing his GTO, every day was its own adventure. The details of the events were never the most important part, the people that he shared them with were the true blessings in his life.
Paul is survived by his wife Christy and his four beautiful children, Derek, Ryan, Zachery and Rachel of Chandler, Ariz.; his parents, Richard (Becky) Colombo of Helper, Kathy Prazen Evans of Queen Creek, Ariz. and father-in-law David Place of Price.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Colombo, Jr; his grandparents John and Mary Colombo, John and Mary Prazen; and his mother-in-law, Patsy Place.
