It was just another weekend of work for the USU Eastern men.

That work ended with two more wins as they picked up a 115-84 over the Colorado Kings on Friday night and a 107-54 win in SWAC play against Colorado Northwestern CC on Saturday afternoon.

Against the Colorado Kings, Kendahl Amerson led the Golden Eagles with a team-high 20 points in 25 minutes of play.

The Golden Eagles used a big rebound advantage, 61 to 31, in the 31-point win on Friday night.

Against CNCC, the Golden Eagles took a 29-point lead into halftime as they ran away with their third SWAC win of the season.

Amerson again led the team with 25 points. The team had four other double digit scorers including Trahmier Burrell (16), Travon Langston (14), Jaleni Neely (12) and Leland Miller (10).

The Golden Eagles, 16-1 overall and 3-0 in SWAC play, will travel to Snow College on Thursday, Jan. 9 in their next conference game.
