An accident on Monday morning at around 8:45 a.m. at the intersection of Fairgrounds Road and Westwood Boulevard nearly sent a station wagon down the hill behind Castleview Hospital into the building itself. A berm held the car from traveling any further.

According to the Price Police Department, Ronald Anderson, 61, of Price was driving eastward in a 2011 Ford F-250 toward town on Westwood Boulevard. Westbound on that same road was Brenda Ingram, 57, also of Price, in her 1994 Taurus. Ingram signaled to turn left onto Fairgrounds Road and waited for traffic to pass. Anderson reportedly drifted into the turn lane in the truck and hit Ingram's vehicle nearly head on. The collision knocked the Taurus backward and down the hill. Neither Anderson nor Ingram's adult son, Cory Isaacson, who was with her in the Taurus, were injured. Both the airbags in the Taurus deployed during the accident.

Ingram was transported to the hospital with a possible broken arm.

Anderson stated that the sun was in his eyes when the accident took place. He was cited for improper lane travel with an accident.
