PRICE - Our wonderful loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Regina LaVerda Craig Johnson, age 83, passed away peacefully in the home of her son Jeff and his wife Lylis, on Saturday morning, Jan. 4, 2014, surrounded by other members of her loving family.
Regina was born in Columbia May 10, 1930 to Willard and Verda Willis Craig. She loved her sister Sandy so much and her brothers Calvin and Bill were her best buddies.
She married her sweetheart Edgar Lamar (Steppie) Johnson on May 13, 1948 and their marriage was solemnized in the Manti Temple on May 24, 1958. While living in both Sunnyside and Price Regina and Steppie were blessed with five wonderful children.
Lamar (Steppie) passed away on March 2, 1998. She later married Robert C. Brady, he passed away Oct. 23rd, 2011.
Regina's greatest love was her husband and children. She loved being with them. She often would sew for them, cook for them, and dress her home so beautifully that it captured the warmth and love of family. She developed many talents as a mother that blessed the lives of her loved ones. She set a beautiful table and created environments that captured the beauty of the seasons. She loved her faith, and counted her membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints as a prized possession.
Oh how she loved working in the Manti Temple, serving her mission with her husband, and enjoying time at her home away from home, her cabin at Scofield. She loved making the trek to the cabin, in fact only a week prior to her passing she rode through the crisp, cold, winter air to reach her holiday cabin sanctuary.
Regina is survived by her children, Debbie Pagano (Lenny) Price, Stephen (Rocky) Johnson (Beth) Murray, Joy Bracken (Stephen) Lindon, Jeff Johnson (Lylis) Price, Jan Loveland, Price; 29 grandchildren, and 23 great-grand children. Children of her late husband Bob Brady, Gale Brady, Karen O'Brien (Scott), Pam Martinez (Robert), and Ricky Brady (Marta).
Words cannot express how much she was loved or how much she will be missed, but we thank our Father in Heaven for the opportunity to have had her in our lives.

Do you think the Utah Legislature should increase appropriations for public education in Utah beyond the current legislative trend in the past few years of funding only for growth in student population?
