HELPER - Emil Martin Sunter, age 69, passed away Jan. 1, 2014 at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.
He was born July 10, 1944 in Price to Martin L. and Mary Parcich Sunter.
Emil was a lifelong resident of Carbon County. Emil loved sports, especially cheering on his beloved Green Bay Packers. He also enjoyed fishing, collecting rocks and playing pool. Emil will be missed by his family and his pool league buddies.
Survived by his sons, Emil A. (Crissy) Sunter, Price, Jason K. (Amy) Jensen, South Jordan; sister, Jean Boyack, Helper; grandchildren, Martin, Vincent, Emilee, Christopher, Jaeda, Aspen and Abigael; and great-granddaughter, Avalynn.
Preceded in death by parents, infant brother, and brother-in-law, Pace Boyack.
Funeral Mass was Monday, Jan. 6, 2014 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Helper. Vigil service was on Sunday evening at Mitchell Funeral Home in Price. Committal service was held at Mt. View Cemetery, Helper. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Emil at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
