Price City Police have released security camera photos of a gunman who robbed the Smith's Food & Drug King Tuesday morning and escaped with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, standing approximately 5'11' and weighing between 170 and 180 pounds. According to a police press release, the suspect may still be in possession of the handgun.

The suspect was wearing a navy blue hoodie, with large images on the left breast and on the back, a Utah State University baseball hat, dark pants and light tennis shoes.

He was further described as having a "well groomed" beard and carrying a see-through checkered gift bag.

Police, who have not released the amount taken, began investigating the armed robbery after being dispatched to the grocery store at about 11:15 a.m.

They are asking citizens to contact the department with any information concerning the case. The department can be reached at 636-3190.
