After weeks of hard and grueling practices, the Carbon High wrestling team will need to display another skill they may not often utilize.

With a schedule home match against Altamont on Dec. 3, the Dinos were ready to open the season and experience competition other than against fellow teammates in practice situations. But with bad weather stretching around the state and across the country, the meet was cancelled.

CHS head wrestling coach Steve Woodhouse said the team was looking forward to the opportunity of competing against a team like Altamont. The Altamont meet has been rescheduled to take place on Jan. 7, 2014. Meanwhile the Dinos won't have much time to relax as they are scheduled to travel to Uintah on Thursday, Dec. 5 for a match before going to a two-day tournament in Panguitch on Dec. 6 and 7.
