In addition to being a showcase for long-dead fossils and remnants of vanished culture, the USU Eastern Prehistoric Museum is also serving as a gallery for works of art from people who are very much alive. On the second floor, between the halls of archaeology and paleontology is new exhibit dubbed "The Other Side of Utah." It is a collection of 72 works of art produced by painters, photographers and sculptors from the east side of the Wasatch Front. The show runs through February 28. Museum hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. General admission rates apply.
