USU Eastern men get first loss; Lady Eagles drop two games in Ephraim

The USU Eastern men's basketball team picked up their first loss of the season as they went 1-1 in a tournament in Rock Springs, Wyo.

The Golden Eagles (9-1 overall) fell to Central Wyoming College 60-55 on Nov. 29 before posting a narrow 79-77 win over Western Wyoming CC on Nov. 30.

The Lady Eagles dropped two games in a tournament in Ephraim including a 107-98 loss to Gillette College on Nov. 30 and an 83-75 loss to Otero Junior College on Nov. 30. The Lady Eagles are now 2-7 on the season.
