Price police have made their first arrest in connection with a Nov. 26 armed robbery at Smith's Food & Drug.

Detectives arrested Jennifer Tryon, 42, of Price, for Aggravated Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, and Obstruction of Justice in connection with the ongoing investigation.

"Tryon's principal participation in the incident was as the driver of the getaway vehicle," said Capt. Bill Barnes.

Local and state police are still looking for the gunman, Domonic Mathew Martinez, also known as "Cancerous" or or "Canceris," who is wanted for Aggravated Armed Robbery.

The crime occurred at about 11:45 a.m. the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, when Martinez reportedly robbed the grocery for an an undisclosed amount of cash and/or property before making his getaway before police arrived.

He was identified when Officer David Wilkinson discovered and obtained a "piece of crucial forensic evidence." The undisclosed item was secured and delivered to the Utah State Crime Lab on Nov. 27. The next morning, state forensic scientists were able to identify Martinez, allowing the Price police to begin their search.

"Our suspect is a career criminal, has an extensive violent history and should be considered armed and dangerous,"said Barnes.

Price Police can be reached via phone at 636-3190.
