Frankie Sanchez, age 47, passed away on Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, Colo., following a motorcycle accident in Delta County.
Frankie was an outstanding leader in life and at work. He enjoyed being with people he loved and doing the things that brought him joy.
Frankie was a hard-working, extremely talented man who was dedicated to his wife and family. He was loved by so many people that loved to hear him laugh and joke. Having such a great sense of humor, he always made everyone laugh. Frankie had a laugh you could not forget. When he laughed, you knew it was genuine.
As the oldest brother, Frankie was molded into the man we all looked up to. He made his parents proud in so many ways. Being big brother, he helped his siblings to learn to take care of one another.
He was a loving husband who cherished his wife and loved her beyond words. As a father, he spoke to his sons with pride and guidance, reminding them to never give up and be yourself. His grandkids thought he was the coolest grandpa who ever lived. He will live on through our children and be remembered for his greatness.
Frankie was a professional with a standard for outstanding quality work that most others couldn't come close to. He was always the go-to guy when no one else could get it done. Frankie was original and so very colorful.
We are all going to miss him here on earth and cherish the memories he left for us forever.
