TWIN FALLS, Idaho - Ventura Compagni, Jr., age 85, passed away July 23, 2013.

He was born March 7, 1928 in Sunnyside to Ventura and Rosalia Petatelli Compagni.

Married Anna Pruy in Nurnberg, Germany on Jan. 26, 1951. She passed away April 23, 2002.

Ventura honorably served his country in the First Armored Calvary where he retired as Sergeant Major. During his years of service the couple traveled considerably. After his retirement in 1974, they moved to Twin Falls, Idaho where they made their home.

Ventura in survived by three grandchildren, his great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Anna; daughter, Rose Marie "Rosie" Plenge; granddaughter, Theresa; numerous brothers and sisters.

Memorial graveside service, Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013, 1 p.m., Price City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Ventura online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
