PRICE - Our loving mother, grandmother, friend and dear neighbor, Renee Annette Anderson Simone, age 81, passed away Nov. 8, 2013 from a broken heart.
She was born in Kenilworth on June 20,1932 to Arthur and Ida Oliver Anderson.
She married the love of her life, Emil Simone on May 17, 1948 in Price. They celebrated 65 wonderful years together before his passing on Aug. 13, 2013.
Renee was a faithful member of the Price Chapel-CMA where she graciously dedicated her life to the service of others. She loved attending the Carbon County Senior Center where she enjoyed playing the organ. Renee was always cheerful, outgoing and her life centered around the constant companionship of her husband. Renee and Emil did everything together and we have great peace in knowing that they are together again.
Survived by her son, Rick (Penny) Simone, Kearns; daughter, Janice Miller, Price, grandson, Richard Troy (Candice) Simone; great-granddaughter, Cailey Simone, all of Salt Lake.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant daughter, Annette Renee Simone; and her brothers and sisters.
Funeral service, Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, 11 a.m., Price Chapel-CMA (611 Price River Drive) in Price. Family will be at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) Monday evening from 6 - 7 p.m. and at the church Tuesday one hour prior to services. Interment, Price City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Renee at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
