PRICE - Our dear friend, Robert Lynn Peacock, age 76, passed away Oct. 30, 2013 at the Utah Valley Speciality Hospital in Provo.
He was born Jan. 12, 1937 in Ferron to Mervin L. and Leah Wilcox Peacock.
Married LaRee Keele, June 4, 1955 in Spring Canyon; their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on May 11, 1991.
Bob was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day-Saints. He was a lifelong resident of Carbon and Emery Counties where he worked for the Utah Department of Transportation Price Office for over 28 years. Bob had a deep love of the outdoors and he spent countless working in his yard and fishing. In 1988, Bob received a special award from the State of Utah for his meticulous care of his yard. If he wasn't working in his yard, Bob was busy building bird houses, key chains or tomma hawks. He was an excellent craftsman who loved working with his hands. Bob will be dearly missed by his family and the gang at McDonald's.
Survived by his loving wife, LaRee Peacock, Price; two sons and two daughters, Lynn R. (Careleen) Peacock, Price, Robyn (Wayne) Brown, Spring Glen, Linda (Paul) Christensen, Price, Kevin Peacock, Lawrence; brothers, Dixon (Talma) Peacock, Orangeville, Paul (Carolyn) Peacock, Pleasant Grove, Neil (Beverly) Peacock, Orem; nine grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, many loving friends and devoted pets.
Preceded in death by his parents, and daughter-in-law, Jamey Peacock.
Funeral service, Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, 11 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price. Family will be at Mitchell's Monday one hour prior to services. Interment, Price City Cemetery.
