PRICE - Our loving husband, father, brother and dear friend, Donald Deon Riding, age 42, went on his final haul Oct. 21, 2013 after battling inoperable brain tumors.
He was born May 19, 1971 in Las Vegas, Nev., to Donald Moroni and Steva Irene Benson Riding.
Donny married the love of his life, Miriam Vande Sluis on Sept. 19, 2006 in Carson City, Nev., and they were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Kristin. Kristin was the sparkle in his eye, and anyone that knew him, knew how much he cared for his daughter. Donny was a fantastic father and wonderful husband who devoted his life to others.
His passion in life was driving truck and for the past several years he was fortunate to drive truck for Savage. Donny enjoyed his job and he loved working alongside some of the best co-workers in the county.
Survived by his wife, Miriam Riding, daughter, Kristin Riding, both of Price; sisters, Jaime (Russell) Haynes, Valerie (Sean) Christensen, all of Nevada.
A graveside service for Donny will be held Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, 1 p.m., at the Cliffview Cemetery in Price. Family will be at Mitchell Funeral Home Friday one hour prior to services. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Donny at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
