PRICE - Our dear mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Lola Mae Miller Marsing Easton, age 91, passed away peacefully from this life Oct. 19, 2013 at the Heirloom Inn of Price.

She was born Feb. 2, 1922 in Fruita, Colo., to Leonard Grand and Ella Matilda Kohls Miller, the eldest of six children.

She married Ralph Marsing, the youngest of six children, on her eighteenth birthday in 1940 in Wellington. He died June 8, 1957 on the family farm. She married Doug Easton April 3, 1976 in Ely, Nev. He died May 25, 2004 in Miller Creek.

Lola Mae was a hard worker who took pride in a job well done. She was a rodeo queen, a Singing Mother and an excellent cook throughout her life. She loved to dance, bowl, shoot pool, and was instrumental in organizing the women's pool leagues in Carbon and Emery counties. She worked more than 20 years at the Cowboy Club in Wellington, running the door on band nights and being the club's Girl Friday.

Lola Mae loved people, animals and following her grandsons and great- grandsons sports events. She was a die-hard Green Bay Packer fan, loved the Utah Jazz and the Colorado Rockies. She would rather watch sports of any kind or the game show channel more than anything else. She followed golf and always rooted for Tiger Woods. She was a fisher woman like no other, and would sit for hours through all kinds of weather just waiting for the next bite. She loved to play cards and games with her family and was especially close to her sister's children and families. She is missed already by all of us who loved her.

Survived by her daughter, Ann Kay Marsing, Price; three grandsons and their wives, Tony (Becky) Archibald, Wellington; Chris (Shandell) Archibald, Price, Steve (Robin) Archibald, Carbonville; special friend, Rita Baker; ten Archibald great-grandchildren, Audrey, Sammi, Kaden, Harrison, Jaxan, Elianna, Jenaya; five foster great-grandchildren, Daizjia, Steven, Daren, Kristopher, Shanney, and their spouses; six step great-grandchildren, Angie Stringfellow, George Stringfellow, Katie Jo (Alan) Marshall, Jessica (Stephen) Prettyman, JoElla Stringfellow, Lillian (T.J.) Cartwright; 15 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Doris (Ken) Francis, Eureka, Calif.; two brothers, Loren Ray (Pat) Miller, Durango, Colo., Erie (Alberta) Miller, Mt. Vernon, Ore.; many nieces, nephews and their families.

Preceded in death by her husbands; brothers, Kenneth "Hoot" (Carmel) Miller, Eldred "Cotton" Miller; parents and great-granddaughter, Emily.
