Besides supporting our own Community Impact Programs, the United Way of Eastern Utah also funds various nonprofit organizations in Eastern Utah. Active Re-Entry, Boys and Girls Club of Carbon County, USU Eastern Sun Center, Friends of PACT in Green River, Rocky Mountain Care Foundation, Southeastern Early Intervention, Community Rebuild of Moab, and WabiSabi in Moab will all receive financial support for specific programs that fit into our focus areas of education, income, and health.

United Way of Eastern will also partner with Community Nursing Services for the 2013-2014 flu season to help provide flu shots to noninsured children and adults in Carbon and Emery County. Two flu shot clinics will be held this season.

We have been making great strides in the Uintah Basin this past year! In January we partnered with The Frontier Grill and Motel in Roosevelt and raised over $2,000.00 for the Coats for Kids Program. United Way of Eastern Utah was able to provide funding to the Duchesne School District for their Special Education Programs. We look forward to the future of expanding services in the Basin this next year.
