Angel Tree serves area children in need every year

One of the most well-known United Way of Eastern Utah Programs is our annual Angel Tree. This program provides holiday assistance to families who are financially struggling in Carbon and Emery Counties.

Last year 738 children were adopted out to local businesses and families who take joy in helping provide for children who otherwise would not have the opportunity to know the magic in Christmas morning. Participating in the Angel Tree Program is a rewarding gift for sponsors, recipients, and the staff at the UWEU. Gifts can either be delivered by the sponsor, or kept anonymous.

We are gearing up for this holiday season, and applications for the program will be accepted until November 15th and can be picked up at the United Way of Eastern Utah office located at 67 East Main. If you are interested in sponsoring a child this year, please call 435-637-8911 for more information.
