Editor:

I am writing this in regards to a former instructor of mine.

I was blessed with the opportunity to take multiple courses from Cliff Bergera, learning everything from an introduction to art to drawing fundamentals to intermediate illustration.

In my mind Mr. Bergera was a master of many fields. His creative composition was not only enjoyable, but inspiring as well.

As a local artist, I still to this day use the various techniques he taught me in a lot of not all of my current projects to date. His teaching techniques were admirable and effective to say the least.

It is very unfortunate to hear of Mr. Bergera's passing. The art world will never be the same and heaven has a very blessed individual to now help paint the amazing sun rises and sunsets all of us here on earth are able to enjoy.
