Janice Mounteer passed away Oct. 6, 2013. She was born on Feb. 17, 1954 in Salt Lake City, to Wayne Grant Wardle and Betty Rae Smith Wardle. She loved spending time with her family and friends, sitting out at the pond, and traveling. She was also a loving foster mother to many. Together with her husband, she owned Star Grill and Theater in Huntington.
Janice is survived by husband Percy W. Mounteer, children Percy Lee (Krista), J.B., siblings Sam, Sherry, Vern, Wayne, Bob, Joel, June, Lynn, grandchildren Krystal (Jose) Chitica, Holli (Kelly) Garvin, Ace (Lacey), Keisha, Jaden, Kaelie, Jorey, great-grandchildren Braxton, Jade, and many adored in-laws.
Preceded in death by her parents and daughter Sammie.
Graveside services Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 11 a.m. at Mountain View Memorial Cemetery, 3115 E. 7800 S. Cottonwood Heights, UT.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 12, at 11 a.m. at the Town Hall on Main Street in Huntington.
She was loved and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
