National Guard Sgts. Garth Johnson and Juan Moreno flank a concrete remnant of the World Trade Center that was the centerpiece of a ceremony in the Price Peace Garden Thursday. They spoke at the event, as did Price Mayor Joe Piccolo, below, who is at the podium in front of the Carbon High School Jazz Ensemble. The fragment was part of a slurry wall that can be seen in photographs on display, right. It is on tour on its way to a memorial at Fort Douglas. The tour is staged by the Fallen Warriors Project, whose mission is to help veterans.
