HELPER - Betty Taskar Voll, age 85, passed away with grace in the early morning of Oct. 1, 2013 in Provo.
She was born June 10, 1928 in Peerless to Anton and Mary Paulin Taskar.
Betty lived a full and interesting life. She lived in various parts of the country and overseas with her husband Bill and their two kids, Jan and Kevin. With their Army life coming to a close Betty and Bill decided to return to their hometown of Helper to be close to family and renew old friendships. Betty enjoyed years of great friends and family that only a small town can give.
She is survived by her son, Kevin and grandchildren, Kale and Kiersha; many other family members that were a big part of her daily life.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Bill, daughter, Jan MacKnight.
The Voll and Taskar families would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the ICU staff at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo.
Funeral service, Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, Noon at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price. Family will be at Mitchell Funeral Home Wednesday one hour prior to services. Interment, Mt. View Cemetery, Helper. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Betty at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
