HELPER- Eva Orton, age 72, passed away Sept. 8, 2013 in Price.
She was the youngest of six daughters born to Rulon (Tramp) Orton and Kate Gibson on July 27, 1941 in Salt Lake City.
Eva was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a longtime resident of Carbon County where she worked at Swift's in Helper for many years. Eva loved handiwork and knitting.
Survived by her sisters, Ora Bogdin, Helper; Vera (Charles) Barney, West Valley; special friend and neighbor, Evelyn Eaquinta, Helper; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Donna, Lou and Peggy.
Graveside service Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, 11 a.m., Mt. View Cemetery in Helper. Family will be at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price Thursday from 10 - 10:30 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Eva at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
