  NOTIFICATION OF CERTIFICATION OF 
ANNEXATION PETITION

	Pursuiant to Section 10-2-406, U.C.A., Wellington City, Utah hereby
gives notice as follows:

	1.	A Petition proposing the Annexation of real property has been
		filed with the City by Randy and Loralie Thayn

	2.	On August 7, 2013, the Wellington City Council received the
		required Notice of Certification from the City recorder certifying
		that the Petition met the requirements of State law.

	3.	The area proposed for annexation in the Petition is described
		as follows:

		BEGINNING AT A POINT 1329.65 FEET NORTH ALONG THE
		SECTION LINE FROM THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF SECTION
		5, TOWNSHIP 15 SOUTH, RANGE 11 EAST, OF THE SALT LAKE
		BASE AND MERIDIAN; AND RUNNING THENCE ALONG SAID
		LINE NO*08'51"W, 1329.22 FEET; THENCE NO*28'50"W,
		1324.15 FEET; THENCE N89*18'05"E, 1333.60 FEET; THENCE

		SO*23'28"E; 1626.53 FEET, THENCE S89*15'15"W, 188.06 FEET; 
		THENCE SO*12'18"E, 557.82 FEET TO A POINT ON THE 
		NORTHWESTERLY RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF 950 EAST STREET;
		THENCE ALONG SAID LINE TO THE FOLLOWING THREE (3)
		CALLS S29*27'14"W. 229.94 FEET; THENCE S89*14'32"W,
		22.11 FEET; THENCE SOO*12'27"E, 275.02 FEET TO A POINT
		ON THE SOUTH LINE OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF THE
		SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 5; THENCE ALONG
		SAID LINE S89*14'35"W, 1013.38 FEET TO THE POINT OF
		BEGINNING. (CONTAINING 75.66 ACRES. Property Serial
		Number 2-1887, 2-1887-3, 2-1887-4)

	4.	The complete Annexation Petition is available for inspection
		and copying at the Wellington City Recorder's office located
		at 150 West Main Street, Wellington, Utah.

	5.	Wellington City may grant the Petition and annex the above
		described area unless written protest to the Annexation
		Petition is filed with the Carbon County Commission/Carbon
		County Clerk Auditor located at 120 East Main Street, Price,
		Utah and a copy of the protest is delivered to the Wellington
		City Recorder located at 150 West Main Street, Wellington,
		Utah. The petition proposed the annexation of an area that
		is undeveloped and covers an area that is equivalent to less
		than 5% of the total land mass of all private real property
		within Wellington City. Therefore, any protest must be filed as
		herein stated by no later than September 6, 2013.

	6.	A protest to the Petition may be filed with the Carbon County
		Commission/County Clerk Auditor and the Wellington Recorder
		by property owners if the protest contains the signatures of the
		owners of private real property that;

		(a)	is located in the unincorporated area of Carbon County
			within one-half (1/2) mile of the area proposed for
			annexation.

		(b)	covers at least 25% of the private land area located in the
			unincorporated area of the Carbon County within one-half
			(1/2) mile of the area proposed for annexation; and

		(c)	is equal in value to at least 15% of all real property located
			in the unincorporated area of Carbon County within one
			half (1/2) mile of the area proposed for annexation.
