Price City Police have arrested two juveniles for their involvement in an Aug. 4 burglary at Decker Bicycle in Price.

According to Capt. Bill Barnes, two males entered the Main Street business from the front wearing hooded sweatshirts. The suspects damaged the business while gaining entry through the front door, and stole an undisclosed amount of money and retail items.

City detectives immediately began investigating but did not get the break they needed until released security footage generated several anonymous tips.

Early Thursday the crime was solved, said Barnes, as Price Police referred two 14-year-old males to Seventh District Juvenile Court where they could face charges including third degree felony business burglary.

According to Barnes, the juveniles have been cooperative with detectives, acknowledging their involvement in the incident and helping to return some of the property.

In their release, the Price department expressed thanks to those who spread the footage and those who came forward with information.

"This cooperation by local citizens is directly responsible for solving this crime," said Barnes.
