HELPER - Our loving and precious mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Margaret Ann Wallace Davis, age 77, died Aug. 19, 2013.
She was born Sept. 15, 1935 to Lucy Martinelli and Andrew Wallace in Castle Gate. Margaret married Lawrence Derrald Davis March 30, 1954 in Elko, Nev.
Margaret with her husband Derrald owned and operated Davis Motors (Superior Cycle) in Helper from 1963 to 1986. She loved sharing Derrald's love for motorsports and enjoyed working by his side.
Margaret was a member of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Helper.
Margaret enjoyed working in her yard, loved keeping it in great condition, decorated with statues that her grandchildren and great grandchildren loved to walk along and see. She had a passion for sewing and made many gifts that will forever be cherished. Margaret also loved to bake and made her famous cinnamon rolls every year before hunting season. She also made many rice crispy treats for her loved ones and for donation for the catholic carnival every year. She loved to go camping at Moon Lake and Jeep rides in the mountains.
She is survived by her children Denise Ann and Louis Grako Grand Jct., Colo; Dennis Kyle and Susan Davis Price; DeAnn (Scott) Prosser, Grand Jct., Colo; Larry Davis, Tooele; Laura and Mike Campbell, Mandan N.D.; grandchildren Dennis and Jennifer Davis, Price; Kristen and Allen McCourt, Price; Heidi and TJ Nunley, Price; Philip Grako, Grand Jct. Colo; Jenna Grako, Grand Jct. Colo; Mindy and Megan Mortensen; Dustin and Brandon Davis, Tooele; Michael and Bridget Campbell, Mandan N.D.; 15 great-grandchildren and one on the way.
Preceded in death by her husband Derrald Davis; parents, Andrew and Lucy Wallace; and brother Frank Wallace.
Funeral Mass, Friday, Aug. 23, 2013, 10 a.m., St. Anthony Catholic Church in Helper. Family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. and Friday morning from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home in Price. Committal service, Mt. View Cemetery, Helper.
