Using mail in ballots, Sunnyside residents whittled their choices for council member down to two on Aug. 13.

Receiving the most votes was current council member Bruce Andrews, who stepped in for departing council member Kelly Maynes earlier this year. Maynes stepped down after moving to Price.

Andrews will now move on to face Tom Jones in November's general election. These results are preliminary as the city will be canvassed until August 21.

Unofficial Results:

Bruce Andrews - 55

Tom Jones - 34

Harold Hornbeck - 1
