After all of the hard work in the offseason in the weight room and in practice, the Carbon High football team will have their first opportunity to show the community their skills under the bright lights on Friday night at 7 p.m. at CHS Stadium for the annual Blue-White game.

After a difficult 1-9 season in 2012, the Dinos are hoping that a team filled with sophomores and juniors will step up and help carry the team.

The offense will be going back to a tradional I-formation and a split back set after running with the spread offense for the last two seasons. The hope for the new offense is to control the ball and the game clock while making sure the Dinos defense is rested.

The Dinos will have one more week to prepare before they officially open the 2013 season as they travel to take on Grand High on Aug. 23 at 7 p.m.
