Former USU Eastern Men's Head Basketball Coach Christopher Dewitt Craig was arrested in Price early Thursday when police learned that he had returned to Carbon County.

According to Price City Police Capt. Bill Barnes, Craig he was spotted and reported by a citizen as well as an off-duty Public Safety Dispatcher. Craig, 32, was taken into custody at his wife's apartment in northeast Price due to an outstanding misdemeanor drug possession warrant at about 10:30 a.m. Police located suspected marijuana, drug paraphernalia and shotgun shells in a search during the arrest.

Craig was booked into the Carbon County Jail for possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia and the outstanding warrant.

This is Craig's second arrest in recent weeks. He was taken into custody in Thatcher, Ariz., on July 10. The former coach allegedly went into a classroom on the campus of Eastern Arizona College waiving a bible and asking the instructor if he was Mormon. Craig then left the classroom and went to another campus building where he continued to make derogatory statements about Mormons and Catholics before being arrested later at a Thatcher Walmart.

Craig was booked into the Graham County Jail in Arizona for investigation of disorderly conduct, threatening and intimidating, and interruption of an educational facility. Craig was released on July 15 after the Graham County District Attorney declined to file charges.

In recent months, Craig's online comments concerning the Apocalypse and religious jihad have piqued the interest of federal and international authorities.

He was not booked concerning the shotgun shells.
