Job's Daughters

Bethel 3 of Price Utah of Job's Daughters International has resumed meetings for the spring term. Back Country Horse Packing Clinic

Saturday, March 23, 2013, Carbon County Fairgrounds Indoor Arena, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Free event. Come learn various hitches or if you're experienced, come share your knowledge. Demonstrations on barrels with plenty of practice time for everyone. Learn to tie a High Line and other Leave No Trace camping techniques, and horse care in the back country. Kindergarten Roundup

Got a 5 year old? Bring them to the Carbon School District Spring 2013 Kindergarten Roundup. Students must be 5 on or before September 1st. In order to attend school a child must have a birth certificate and proof of receiving the following immunizations: 5 DPT/DTaP/DT- 4 doses if 4th dose was given on/after 4th birthday, 4 Polio- 3 doses if 3rd dose was given on/after 4th birthday, 2 MMR (measles/mumps/rubella)2 Hepatitis A- 3 Hepatitis B, 1 Varicella (chickenpox)-history of disease is acceptable, parent must sign verification statement on school immunization record. Dates and times are as follows: Castle Heights March 18th from 9:00-11:00 A.M. Creekview March 19th from 9:00-11 :00 A.M. Sally Mauro March 20th from 9:00-11 :00 A.M. Price Mom & Me Playgroup

Carbon School District is conducting a FREE Screeing day for possible enrollment in district preschools at Creekview, Wellington, Bruin Point and Castle Valley Center, or Head Start in Wellington or Price. The screenings include speech and language, developmental, hearing, and vision. They will be done on March 27 at the Carbon School District Office Building. The Other Side of Utah Art & Photography Exhibition

at the USU Eastern Prehistoric Museum. The Exhibit will run February 23-May 10, 2013. This is a fabulous exhibition containing different types of media including: acrylics, conte', computer graphics, mixed media, oils, photographs, sculpture, and watercolor. (general admission rates apply)

is a support group for Family and Friends of Same Sex Oriented individuals. This group meets to provide a supportive community and safe haven for families and friends who are struggling with concerns and questions about gay, lesbian, transgender, bisexual issues that loved ones are experiencing.
