Lions Club breakfast Saturday
The Price Lions Club will serve its 26th annual Chuckwagon Breakfast Saturday beginning at 7 a.m. It will be open until around 10 a.m., which will give diners a chance to get to the International Days Parade.
Breakfast will be served in the Washington Park pavilion next to the Desert Wave Pool.
The menu includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, melon, orange juice, milk and coffee.
The charge is $5 for adults and $3 for chiuldren under 12.
Club president Barry Cook said proceeds from the breakfast provide funds for Lions projects across the county.
Current projects include putting new wood siding on the Terrace Hills pavilion, as well as sealing the wood and repainting the metal poles that support the roof.
The club also continues to maintain the projects it bult at the Boy Scout Scofield Aquatics Camp. Lions also handle the upkeep of a picnic shelter at the Carbon County Airport. It has restrooms, kitchen services and tables, and is available for public rental.
Lions also provide vision care services for the working poor.
