PRICE-Braulio (Bill) Saiz Gonzales, age 88, passed away peacefully at home while surrounded by family on July 11, 2013.
He was born April 12, 1925 in Junction, Texas to Estevan and Petra Saiz Gonzales.
In 1950, Bill married Priscilla Lobato in Las Vegas and they moved to Price where he remained until his passing.
Bill was a contributing member of the Carbon County community for over 50 years. He was the owner of Inertmountain Shearing Company. Bill was a dedicated worker, business owner and community activist. He honorably served his country in the Army during World War II. Bill loved spending time with his family and will always be fondly remembered for his wonderful cooking skills. He was a member of the Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
Survived by his loving wife, Priscilla Gonzales, Price; children, Dorothy (Bill) Marston, Spring Glen, Vera (Mariln) Andrus, Salt Lake City, Emma Robertston, Price, Sharon (Jim) Basso, Price, William (Stephanie) Gonzales, Olalla, WA, Dixie (Nathan) Marvidikis, Helper; 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his son, Edward Gonzales; and grandson, Christopher Robertson.
Funeral Mass, Tuesday, July 16, 2013, 11:00 a.m., Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Evening service, Monday 7:00 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell's Monday and Tuesday one hour prior to services. Committal service, Cliffview Cemetery, Price.
