Sliderz preparing for more tournament play after 2nd place finish in Richfield

The Sliderz, a local 9U team, took first place at the Richfield Father's Day Tournament. The Sliderz overwhelmed Richfield in their first game on Friday winning 20-0 setting up a 10-3 victory over the Washington Braves. Carrying the momentum into Saturday morning the boys blasted St. George Outlaws by a score of 10-4. After a 5 hour break the boys powered through an 8-4 win over the Roosevelt Strike. The championship stayed in favor of the relentless Sliderz defeated Snow Canyon Whiptails in a hard fought battle 11-7.

The team took second at a tournament in Vernal the weekend prior to the Father's day tournament and they will be playing in a Rocky mountain school of baseball tournament on July 19th & 20th in Midvale/South Jordan.

Players on the team include Jordan Davies, Jacob Vasquez, Kade Dimick, Boden Alderson, Keaton Rich, Jacob Robertson, Hayden Tallerico, Gauge Magann, Jerden Alderson & Jordan Wright. The coaches are Chris Magann, Matt Tallerico and Ty Alderson.
