Wellington fire fighters pour water on the smoking remains of a 2007 Chevrolet Aveo that swerved off Old Wellington Road near Cemetery Road Wednesday afternoon. The driver, 46-year-old Emmett Adair of Wellington, was alone in the car. He was able to escape without serious injury before the car was completely engulfed in fire and destroyed.

Lt. Tory Christiansen of the Carbon County Sheriff's Department said that Adair was arrested and booked for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
