Our beloved brother, uncle, cousin, brother-in-law, nephew and friend died Sunday, June 9 after a courageous battle with cancer. His strength during this time was inspirational.
Dale was born Aug. 8, 1955 in Dragerton to Walter and Elmerine Lewis. He graduated from East Carbon High School in 1973. Dale lived in Arizona and California before returning home to Utah in 2005. Dale loved to travel and was very active in the Democratic Party. His legacy will be his devotion to his family. He loved them so much.
Preceded in death by both parents and grandparents, brothers Jerry Lewis, Robert Lewis, sisters Mary Brown, and Shirley Ellis.
Survived by brothers Walter Lewis Jr. (Herriman), Glen Lewis (Paula, Price) Rick Lewis (Denver, Colo.), John Lewis (Alamosa, Colo.); sisters Charlotte Celestin (O'Neil Ventress, Louisiana), Pam Velasquez (Gene, Vancouver, Wash.), Gigi Gonzales (Jorge, Taylorsville), Sandra Adams (Otis, Draper) Norma Jean Parr (Paul, Sacramento, Calif.) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the Living Waters Christian Church, 2355 S. 1070 W., Salt Lake City at 11 a.m.
In lieu of ?owers donations can be made to the Huntsman Cancer Center.
