HELPER - Perry Wayne Anderson, age 66, passed away on June 4, 2013, in Helper.
He was born Jan. 10, 1947 in San Bernardino, Calif., to Gerald V. and Daisy M. Horton Anderson.
Perry lived in Colton, Calif., as a child and moved to Banning, Calif., in 1959. He graduated from Banning High School in 1965, where he was on the honor roll and Senior Class president. He attended BYU from 1965-67.
Married Barbara Byerly, they had two children: Damon and Melissa. Later divorced. Married Judy Kasinger, they had two daughters: Audrey and Autumn. Later divorced.
Perry loved a good movie, rock-hounding, the Jazz and BYU Cougars. He enjoyed exploring historic Utah, motorcycle and ATV riding and camping. Retired from JC Penney in 2000 and moved to Helper.
Survived by his four children, Damon, Melissa, Audrey and Autumn; grandchildren, Trinity, Valkyrie and Nathan; and brother, Tim.
Preceded in death by parents and brother Warren.
Memorial service Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Edgemont Sixth Ward Chapel, 4056 N. Timpview Dr. (650 E.) in Provo. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home in Price where friends can share memories of Perry at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
