Bruin Point students present fine arts revue
Caycen Lewis, Izabella Marshell act out a scene in the 6th grade's rendition of The Princess and the Pea, while castmates Kearston Hamblin, Kaylee Hurtado, Calista Armioia look on. The student's performance was part on a year end revue which demonstrated the school's detication to fine arts. Bruin Point used the elementary's School Lands Trust money to finance instructors Billie Decker, who taught visual arts for the first third of the year and John Behn who focused on drama and music for the remainder of the year. Behn, who taught various lessons depending on age, was able to have each class perform for the East Carbon community on May 15. The sixth graders were charged with writing and performing their own version of a classic fairytale.
