Memorial Day ceremonies

To honor those who have fallen in battle this Memorial Day, the American Legion Post #3 of Price and Post #21 of Helper, in conjunction with the Price VFW and Marine Corps League will be conducting services at the following locations and times:

Price City Main Cemetery, 9 a.m.

Price City Cliffview Cemetery, 10 a.m.

Wellington Cemetery, 11 a.m.

Helper City Cemetery, 1 p.m.

In Helper, the ceremony will also include a monument dedication to honor all veterans interred there. It is requested that all active duty, retired members, National Guard and former military members participate in these events.

Additionally, the American Legion office, 27 North 100 West in Price, will open from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. May 25 for those families that do not already have a flag for their loved ones' graves in either of the Price cemeteries. These flags will be handed out for families to use and retain each Memorial Day.
