Blessed bikes roll out on tour

Fifty-three motorcycles - 42 of them blessed at a ceremony earlier - roll out of the Sutherlands parking lot in Price for a semiannual tour of Southeastern Utah Saturday afternoon.

These are all members and friends of Eastern Utah Friendship Riders, an organization whose unifying theme is a love of motorcycling. Politics, regligion and social status don't get in the way of friendship at the event.

From Sutherlands, the group headed to Ferron and Emery Town. They then took the Mill Creek turnoff to I-70 and arrived at Ray's Tavern in Green River. From Green River, the tour split, with some riders heading on to Moab and the remainder returning to Price.
